This is a new blog to introduce you to Helping Children Around the World Foundation. A humanitarian organisation that helps children, individuals, and families around the world with fulfilling their basic needs for survival. Then taking it to the next step and providing opportunities to become self reliant and self sufficient.

We have added two new programs that we are excited about.

Water Pumps for Water Stations in Africa. Many villages in Africa walk to a water well and then bring water up by hand with a bucket. Water is a village’s life force. The human body is made up of over 80% water. Crops must have water to grow and produce food for these villagers. Without water life of a person or crop dies. We need your help to save these lives and help them sustain themselves.

The cost for each water pump is $9,000 for a solar energy water pump. We chose the solar energy water pump for its durability, effectiveness, and ability to pump water using a renewable energy source.

Artificial Limbs Program~ Provides inexpensive artificial limbs for individuals who have suffered a loss due to disease, natural disasters, accidents, birth defects, and warfare. Often people who lose a limb are discriminated against which results in loss of employment for a disability they had no control over. Unfortunately the entire family suffers, as younger children are taken out of school to help work and bring in money to survive. Helping Children Around the World Foundation will team up with an organization that manufactures these prosthetics.

A donation of $25 per limb will save a family.
